It's Spring Tune Up Time

It may be snowing outside this week but I'm still going to say Happy Spring and we hope dry trails are coming our way soon!  We have so many fun rides and events planned this spring and summer that we can't wait to share with you all. But before we can get to riding, it's important to give your bike, membership, and your calendar a tune-up!

Bike Tune-Ups:
Our amazing bike shops are working hard to make the switch from winter to summer, so give them grace and perhaps plenty of time to get your bikes ready for riding. A few things to remember:

  • The earlier you drop them off the better!

  • When you drop your bikes off remember to say thanks to them for being a CIMBA sponsor!

  • Shops that support CIMBA: Gravity, McCall Sports Exchange, Home Town Sports, Carl's Cycles, and Reeds Cycles, thank you!

Membership Tune-Ups:
It's also a great time to make sure you are current on your CIMBA membership as we have a lot of great events planned this year and we'd hate for you to miss out! Not sure how to verify if you are active or are you new and need to get signed up? Then follow these steps here.

  1. Click HERE to access the IMBA site (where CIMBA memberships are through).

  2. If you are new you'll have to create an account, otherwise log into your existing account.

  3. On the main page after you login you should be able to scroll down and see your current membership status. If your status doesn't say Current, or your renewal date is coming up then hit the Renew Now button.

    • We recommend (obviously) checking the box "auto-renew" to save you time in the future and make sure you never miss out on any CIMBA membership benefits.

Calendar Tune-Ups:
The time is now to get that calendar out and start saving the dates for all our CIMBA events. We have finalized our spring Gravel Grinder Series, we have a fun upcoming raffle for Idaho Gives, and soon we'll have majority of our summer rides and events posted as well. So make sure you have your own personal calendar ready to go to fit in all the fun biking events!

Idaho Gives - Mark Your Calendars!

We are so grateful and excited to be a part of Idaho Gives this year. In case you haven't heard of it, Idaho Gives is an event that happens from May 1st - May 4th. It's designed to bring the state together to raise money and awareness for Idaho nonprofits, like CIMBA!

We have a big goal this year to raise $7000. These funds are being earmarked for our upcoming FlightPath Bike Park (more details on this to follow soon!) and as always, other new trails being built and existing trails being maintained and/or improved.

In order to achieve our goal of raising $7,000 we are asking for your help! Idaho Gives is putting on a few prize contests. We need your help and participation to win some extra prize money!

Contest #1: Surpass the Past
Help CIMBA "Surpass the Past" by receiving more donations from donors who have not donated to CIMBA in the past. We are looking for donations of any amount from as many first-time donors as possible to be entered in a drawing for $1,000!

Contest #2: Peer-to-Peer Pals
Instructions for this contest:

  1. Click on the QR Code below or Scan it

    1. It should take you to the Idaho Gives site and the CIMBA specific page.

  2. Select Fundraise

  3. Enter your information to create your own unique fundraiser for CIMBA. If you receive 2 or more donations totaling $250 or more before May 3rd at 3pm, CIMBA will get entered to win an additional $1,000!

So please keep CIMBA in mind when Idaho Gives arrives in a few weeks. And if you want the chance to donate and WIN something, then stop by the McCall Public Library on May 1st from 4-6 PM. We'll have a booth there with some goodies to raffle off for anyone that donates at the booth!

Scan the QR code below or click on the image for a link to our Idaho Gives donation page.
