New Board, Upcoming Events & 2022 Year in Review
Happy New Year!
We hope you had a great holiday season and are diving into all the winter things. We have exciting events in the works for CIMBA in 2023 and we can't wait to have you join us. First though, we wanted to share some exciting news- we have a new board elected, which is made up of new and old faces in new positions. We wouldn't be here today without the hard work of our previous board members and those before them, so we'd like to take the time to thank them for all their hard work! If you see them out on the trail, give them a high five and say thanks for their efforts.
Previous board members haven't strayed far as some will be stepping into other roles allowing the group to continue to advance CIMBA's mission. With a new board comes the added challenge and complexity of learning to work together so please be patient with us as we navigate this transition. Over the coming weeks we'll be sharing board member bios on our social media, allowing you to get to know us. There's many new ideas and much enthusiasm going into 2023 so we're excited to get to work!

2022 Year in Review
2022 was a great year for building. Here are some milestones CIMBA hit:
Completed the Ursa Major trail from Brundage to Bear Basin. No other trail comes close to this one- 6.2 miles long, 1800’ vertical, modern flow-trail corners, and features. This trail is a real showcase of our area and the flow is on a whole new level. Official release party coming this spring.
Groundbreaking of the Flightpath Bikepark in conjunction with the City of McCall. This upcoming in-town park will become a hub of the biking community in the area.
Partnered with OTM, Brundage Mountain, City of McCall, and McCall Area Comp NICA team to build new trails and maintain existing ones.
Worked with Brundage, Tamarack, and Jug Mtn. Ranch and mapped the new trails to keep Adventure Maps, mtbproject, and trailforks.com current and accurate.
Completed a major strategic planning effort that will guide the club for the next 3 years. We took your comments and crafted a plan that gives CIMBA four pillars to move into the future- trails, community, organization, and funding.
Reached out to more people than ever through events, emails, social media, and in-person to increase participation.
Increased the number of grants to make this all possible.
Thank you for everything YOU have done for CIMBA this year. We so appreciate our sponsors, our members, our volunteers and our community. Oh yeah, and our amazing land that we get to bike on!
